TaperKratom is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. Given the sensitive nature of substance use information, we take extra precautions to minimize data collection and protect what we do collect.

Information We Collect

Calculator inputs (basic preview): When you use the taper calculator for a basic preview, your inputs (dose, product type, usage duration) are processed using our taper engine. We do not permanently store this information.

Premium plan generation: When you generate a premium AI plan, your calculator inputs are sent to our AI system to create personalized schedules and supplement protocols. This data is used only for plan generation and is not stored permanently or shared with third parties.

Account information: If you create an account, we collect the information provided during registration (name, email). Saved taper plans are encrypted and associated with your account.

Usage analytics: We collect anonymized usage statistics (page views, feature usage) to improve the Service. This data cannot be linked to individual users or their health information.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: provide and maintain the Service, save and retrieve your taper plans (if you have an account), improve the calculator algorithms and content, send account-related communications (password resets, security alerts), and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service.

We do not use your information to: sell or share data with third parties, target advertising, build user profiles for marketing, or contact you with promotional materials unless you explicitly opt in.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest for sensitive data, regular security audits, and access controls limiting who can view user data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format, withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time, and opt out of any non-essential communications.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including saved taper plans) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to individual users.

Children's Privacy

TaperKratom is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
