7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) Products
Products containing 7-hydroxymitragynine have 13-46x the receptor affinity of mitragynine (Kruegel et al., 2016). They create the deepest physical dependence and require the slowest, most careful taper. Our calculator uses a specialized 7-OH protocol with 3-5% reductions and 14-18 day hold periods. How Our Calculator Uses This Data
When you select your product in the taper calculator, the algorithm uses the mitragynine-per-serving data to determine your total daily alkaloid load. Your taper schedule is then calculated using category-specific protocols — leaf products use larger reductions (8-10%) with shorter holds, while extract (5-6%) and 7-OH products (3-5%) use smaller, more conservative reductions with longer stabilization periods. You stay on your own product throughout — no forced conversion to powder.
